High School Boys Canoe and Kayak Trip

Students must have completed the 8th grade through the 12th grade.
Students must attend the Planning meeting on May 9th, 2021.
HERES THE SCHEDULE AND MORE INFORMATION
Students must bring:
- Sun block
- Towel
- Tent (if they have one)
- Dry bags (find at REI, academy, bass pro, etc)
- Clothing for 5 days packed in separate
dry bags
- Water Shoes
- LEAVE ALL JEWLERY AT HOME
- Pillow
- RIVER SOAP (THIS IS REQUIRED amoung your
other toiletries)
- Snacks (Lots of ‘em)
- Water bottle (We will have plastics, but they need
to be trashed)
- Shirts are not required to be worn on the river,
but their is still a sun min you!
- Cell Phones are discouraged, but you will NOT
take them
on the river.
- Flashlight
- Footwear (More than just your water shoes)
- Sunglasses and a hat for the river.
(YOUR HEAD WILL GET BURNED!)

Things Provided:
- Vessel Rental (Students must bring $40 for rental,
food, and the like)
- 4 Canoes (2 man) and 2 two-man “tandem” Kayaks
- Guys should arrive at 2pm to make their
Cowboy Potatos at the Church
- We will stop for Dinner on the way down to
Grafford before
setting up camp (bring cash).
- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and breakfast the
next morning will be
provided in the trip fee
- Life vests will be provided by rental place if your
student does not have one
